Dozens of people shot the killing of a 16-year-old on their phones instead of calling an ambulance

September 15, in the Long Island area, 16-year-old Khaseen Morris was stabbed to death during a fight because of a girl. A crowd of teenagers and random witnesses indifferently watched what was happening, and also shot a video, even after stabbing in the chest of the deceased.
His family says he was happier than ever just “being himself”, after moving to Oceanside for high school. But yesterday, someone stabbed and killed 16-year old Kahseen Morris, over a girl. According to police, more than fifty people simply watched the guy bleed in the parking lot and not a single one called for help. Tyler Flach, 18, is arrested on charges of killing a minor victim. It is reported that today he will appear in court.
Nassau County Det. Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick said that people simply “enjoyed the sight” instead of preventing a tragedy or even calling for help.
“Kids stood here and didn’t help Khaseen,” Fitzpatrick said. “They’d rather video. They videoed his death instead of helping him.”
According to eyewitnesses and relatives of the deceased, an unnamed girl became a provocateur of a fight.Morris' older sister claims that her relationship with the deceased was a cause for jealousy for her ex-boyfriend.
"The girl told her ex-boyfriend and said that, 'Oh another boy walked me home,' and she kind of set up this thing to get him jealous," an older sister of Khaseen's told NBC New York.
At the moment, investigators are looking for everyone who was present at the scene. Officers urge the public to answer for their criminal inaction.
