Video: Antifa attacked the ICE office in Portland and fled after the police responded, one man arrested

Saturday, the Climate Strike event that gathered about thousand people in Portland ended up with antifa's attack on the local DHS/ICE office. But then the attack turned against themselves and they were opposed by Portland police force.

After the “climate strike” march ended, masked antifa amassed at a park near the Portland ICE facility. They began to throw rocks and projectiles at police officers.

The reporter who made headlines several months ago by being attacked and suffered injuries from Antifa members, Andy Ngo made the footage of the whole failed attack and the followed arrest. The video shows the police officers chase down the Portland antifa men after they attempted to attack the ICE office. One attack participant was eventually detained and arrested at the scene.

“Federal DHS police—not the Portland Police—searched the antifa suspect for weapons before he was taken inside the vehicle. The suspect was allegedly one of the antifa militants who threw projectiles (rocks) at them. The rest of the masked antifa people ran away.” Ngo writes in his twitter where he also posted the materials of antifa attack.

The rest of the antifa attackers took off running away when they got the concurrent respond from the police. Ngo calls antifa militants “clowns” and “major league p***ies” when they don’t attack somebody from behind with “bicycle locks”.

While chasing the antifa one of the police officers accidently dropped the gun magazine. And some user from twitter writes in the post calling antifa "the students who were attacked by ICE agents" that it almost ended with threats of shooting the antifa member who attempted to pick the dropped ammo. But if to watch the video closely it becomes clear that there were no actual threat of casualties, as the police officers warned the antifa man twice, repeating "put it down, step away from it." And here is the thing, the officers are trained and learned to react the exact way the very police officer responded to the alleged threat for their lives and lives of other police officers. So, the officer was acting according to the rules and didn't do anything wrong.
