Key witness who helped put Amber Guyger behind bars was shot by unidentified men in Dallas
The high-profile murder case of black Botham Jean by a white policeman did not end after Amber Guyger was convicted of deliberate murder. On Friday, it was reported that the main witness who witnessed against the white policeman, Joshua Brown, was killed by an unknown in Dallas.
It is reported that eyewitnesses heard a shot at about 10 pm, and after half an hour the police arrived at the scene. According to preliminary data, the victim was shot at least four times, but despite so many bullet wounds, Brown was alive. After being transported to the Parkland Memorial Hospital, doctors announced his death.
Lee Merritt, a lawyer advocating for the rights of the Jean family, also posted a tweet demanding answers linking the murder of Joshua Brown and the recent trial of Amber Guyger.
“I just spoke with Joshua Browns mother. She is devastated. We all are. Joshua Brown was key witness in the murder of Botham Jean that helped put Amber Guyger away. We need answers,” Merritt wrote.

According to police, no suspects have been arrested at this time. Eyewitnesses said that immediately after the shots they saw a silver car leaving. The investigation is ongoing.
