The church leader who molested 10 children will go to prison for 80 years
Jehovah’s Witness Elder, Roderick G. Watkins was sentenced to eighty years in prison last week.
Again the church, again pedophilia, in this world these things are changeless.
According to the prosecution, the 56-year-old church minister entered into sexual contact with 3 minor boys and one girl. Also Cleburne county sheriff, Chris Brown said that just before the last trial, 6 more serial pedophile victims joined the prosecution.
It is reported that after receiving the first report of child abuse, church leaders did nothing but limit Roderick G. Watkins’s responsibilities. According to police reports, all the attacks on four victims occurred in the fall of 2018, some children were molested several times in a short period of time.
At the moment, in the case of each victim of Watkins, the offender has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. The remaining 6 charges are pending.
“I think that’s a testament to just how strongly our community feels about things like this,” Cleburne county sheriff, Chris Brown says.
The Detective Jenifer Osborn of the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department, found that the youngest victim was just over 9 years old and the oldest child was 15 years old. Among the six new charges, there are children of 6 years of age.
