The school bus driver “bring discipline” by sharply pressing the brake pedal after which the child flies into the windshield
The embittered school bus driver has been arrested and charged with four child abuse counts. On October 4 in Mesa, Arizona a video monitoring camera mounted on a school bus captured Jamie Tellez, while driving, insulting students, and then abruptly stopped the bus so that the student crashed into the windshield.
The video clearly shows how trying to get into the bin, one of the students misses, which causes driver's attack of anger in the. Tellez presses the brake, and then, accusing the boy of throwing garbage and using foul language, pushes him back into the bus.
According to the prosecution, an 11-year-old student received minor head and hip injuries as a result of a collision. The footage shows that the driver was not worried about the possible injuries of the child, it was also found that later Jamie Tellez did not report the conflict to the school management and parents.
Also during interrogation, the driver admitted that he was very angry and therefore deliberately abruptly stopped the bus so that the student would hit.
It is reported that the leadership of Mesa Public Schools intends to dismiss Jamie Tellez. Today, he is on unpaid administrative leave.
The court date is set for October 23. While waiting for a court hearing, Tellez is required to wear ankle monitor.
