Woman dies while having sex and her partner is charged with reckless manslaughter
21-year-old New Jersey man arrested after having sex in a car with a 19-year-old that ended up with her death. The man is charged with reckless manslaughter.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the investigation over death of a 19-year female at 140 Prospect Street, Hackensack. During the investigation police have arrested Michael Gaffney, who is suspected in murder.
Hackensack Police department received 911 call, responding of an unresponsive female in a vehicle on Saturday, November 2 at 2:14 a.m. The victim, Francis Garcia, was pronounced dead after she was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center by the responding EMS.
The investigation revealed that Garcia was having sex with Gaffney on the back seat of her vehicle. According to the results of autopsy Garcia’s death was caused by “compression injuries to her neck.”
According to the Daily Voice, Gaffney ‘told detectives that they’d taken prescription medication and were having rough sex in her car when she lost consciousness, a law enforcement source said, adding that the victim had bruises on her neck consistent with his claim.’
As a result of the investigation, Gaffney was arrested and charged with one count of Reckless Manslaughter.
