Biological men who identifies as female now have legal access to women's locker rooms
The Chicago High School Board on Thursday decided to give full access to men who think they are women to women's locker rooms.
Against the backdrop of jubilant transgender people, many students, not hiding tears, consider this an invasion of their personal space and total discrimination.
One of the victims of this “reform of women's rights,” Julia Burca, an athlete from William Fremd High School in Palatine, came to the forefront and stated that, being a swimmer, she was uncomfortable exposing herself next to a man.
"I feel uncomfortable that my privacy is being invaded," Burca told the Daily Herald, adding that because of her sport she needs to change "multiple times, naked, in front of the other students in the locker room."
Nova Maday opposed women, he has been a plaintiff against discrimination against transgender people since 2017. Yesterday's vote by the school board caused Maday joy.
Maday also told CBS that “I’m just like every other girl,” not considering the presence of a penis.
This decision once again emphasized the failure of the school board, “seeking equality” and at the same time neglecting women's rights. It is reported that the council voted 5-2 in favor of transgender people, not paying attention to the huge number of those who disagree with such a policy.
