Michigan can only get a drug if they are 21 years old. At 10 a.m., the first marijuana shops opened in Ann Arbor.
"Today we have the first day of recreational legal marijuana in Ann Arbor, Michigan," said one of the people in the line.
To date, the state has issued almost 20 licenses for the production, sale and processing of the product. In turn, about a dozen licenses await issuance over the next month.

It is reported that people occupied the queues several hours before the opening. Some said that the hype surrounding this historic event surpassed the release of a new device from Apple.
