Independence Day Celebration Related Assault in Kentucky
KENTUCKY – JULY 4, 2018.
Two men were wounded and taken to University of Kentucky Hospital after a shooting near a bingo hall in Rowan County, Kentucky, about 10 p.m. yesterday.
A group of 10-12 individuals were setting off fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July when they were assaulted by Harvey Kissick, 63, who lives next door to the bingo hall.
The gunman was arrested and charged with two counts of 1st degree assault.
Police say drug and alcohol use could have been a factor in Kissick committing this crime.
