Tennessee Deputy who baptized a woman against her will faces new 44 criminal charges
Hamilton County Officer has systematically abused his position throughout his life. The jury accused the deputy of 44 counts, including rape, extortion, assault and harassment. Earlier, a woman said against him, claiming that during the detention, the accused Daniel Wilkey and his partner forcibly baptized her in Soddy Lake.

To date, 5 lawsuits filed with the district court are known. In one of the criminal cases, the victim claims that Wilkey stopped her car and then raped her.
A few hours after the arrest, Daniel Wilkey was released from custody. The Sheriff’s office said a hearing would soon be scheduled on the suitability of the accused deputy.
“As an employee of the HCSO, Deputy Wilkey is covered under Civil Service which requires this agency to follow a specific process as to how his employment status is addressed during the investigative phase and once formal charges have been issued. In accordance with Civil Service guidelines, a Pre-Determination Hearing will be scheduled to address Deputy Wilkey’s employment status,” Sheriff Hammond's full statement reads.
It is reported that a preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 20th.
