In the past Popular singer Linda Maria Ronstadt equates Trump's rule with Hitler's dictatorship
Linda Ronstadt, the winner of eleven Grammy awards, has recently become extremely well versed in politics, in particular with regard to Donald Trump. In a recent interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, Ronstadt drew a parallel between the current political system in the United States and Nazi Germany.
From her words, at the moment, President Donald Trump monopolizes power at all levels, just as Adolf Hitler did in his time.
"By the time he got established, he put his own people in place and stacked the courts and did what he had to do to consolidate his power," Ronstadt said, referring to the Nazi leader. "And we got Hitler, and he destroyed Germany. He destroyed centuries of intellectual history forward and backward."
Zealous critic of Trump, Linda Ronstadt in her speech referred to the history according to which the current US president follows in the footsteps of the former leader of the Third Reich. Continuing to answer Cooper's questions, she compared Mexicans to Jews who were genocide.
"If you read the history, you won't be surprised. It's exactly the same," Ronstadt replied. "Find a common enemy for everybody to hate. I was sure that Trump was going to get elected the day he announced, and I said it's gonna be like Hitler, and the Mexicans are the new Jews. And sure enough that's what he delivered."
After this interview, many opponents of Trump's presidency supported Ronstadt, completely ignoring the identical actions of the Democratic Party while they were at the head of the USA. Democrats have no less zealously usurped government bodies and are doing this at the moment, giving illegal immigrants more rights than US citizens, calling racists exclusively white people. Yesterday’s permission to vote without an ID in North Carolina only visually confirms this statement.
