The murderer who raped the 92-year-old woman claimed that his pants themselves fell and the genitals “accidentally” touched
According to New York Post, a 21-year-old suspect in the killing and rape of a woman from Queens intended to avoid punishment by telling investigators an amazing story like “he'd been trying to help the old woman - but then he lost his balance, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his genitals accidentally came in contact with hers.”
Reeaz Khan's testimony says that he discovered a helpless old woman around midnight on Monday and wanted to help, but then something went wrong.
“He fell down, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his penis fell near her vagina,” the prosecutor, Joseph Grasso, said in court. “Defendant then stated that he did lift up her skirt and he tried to put his penis inside of her”.
Earlier, New York Post reported that the suspect motivated his criminal actions with a psychological trauma related to his mother.
“A source said the suspect claimed to police that he murdered victim Maria Fuertes because “his mother abused him – he hated his mother.” The suspect and Fuertes did not know each other, the source said”.
According to court documents, Maria Fuertes, whom the locals called “cat lady”, received numerous fractures of the ribs and spine. Traces on her neck also indicate strangling.
The prosecutor's office has evidence against the suspect Khan in the form of a video from several angles. It is reported that all the evidence will be presented in court on January 15th. To date, Reeaz Khan is being held behind bars without bond.
