Nobody believed 14-year-old girl that she was physically abused and she installed cameras in her bedroom to record video evidences
A Florida 14-year-old girl for years tried to inform that she suffers physical abuse but no one believed her. So the smart teen installed cameras in her bedroom to record the proving videos.
A girl, whose name in means of protection is not identified, provided video evidence of the alleged assaults to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office in Florida, that led to the arrest of 47-year-old Damon Becnel.
The two videos show Becnel head-butts her, grabs her hair and throws her head against the bed, according to the arrest report. Besides his victim Becnel threatened to the girl’s dog with a knife.
"I will cut this f****** dog ****** dog's f****** eyeballs out," Becnel can be heard on the video yelling while the girl begs him to stop.
Becnel was charged with felony child abuse and tormenting an animal, according to the sheriff's office.
The girl’s mother, who doesn’t have custody of her, said that her daughter tried to report the alleged violence for years but nobody believed her. It made the girl to install the cameras.
The girl now is living with her friend, authorities say.
The relations between the girl and Becnel are not clarified. The Sheriff’s office didn’t provide this information citing the state law protecting the identities of child abuse victims.
Becnel was arrested on January 2 and released on January 3 after posting $4,000 bail and is due before a judge on February 4.
