Construction worker hammering a foreman with a brick trowel during political dispute
28-year-old Mason Trever Toney is the prime suspect in the murder of the Orlando construction site foreman. According to eyewitnesses, both the suspect and his victim, 28-year-old William Knight were good friends until one of them was stabbed to death.
“Mason Toney, 28, is accused of fatally stabbing his employer and childhood friend, 28-year-old William Knight, just before 10:45 a.m. Monday in the area of Exit 254 near South Orange Blossom Trail and West Taft Vineland Road” reports WFTV 9 ABC.
Witnesses and the family say that political disputes often arose between them. Toney was an ardent hater of the current political system, and the deceased Knight supported Donald Trump.
On the day of the tragedy, a quarrel arose between Toney and Knight, then the site workers heard cries for help, some threw objects at the attacker. After all, the suspect called his colleagues “terrorists” and fled the scene, leaving the American flag near the bleeding boss.
A few hours later, Mason Trever Toney was arrested at Brevard County by officials with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, clickorlando.com reports. At the moment, the accused is being held in Orange County without a bond.
