A national hero and fighter with the corrupt Arizona government was caught on Thursday by special forces. Police identified the graffiti artist as Dustin Shomer, responsible for writing over 40 “Penis Man” inscriptions on walls throughout Tempe, including the historic Hayden Flour Mill, the 'A' landmark on Hayden Butte and the front door of Tempe's municipal building.

“Dustin was booked into the Tempe City Jail on 16 counts of aggravated criminal damage, 8 counts of criminal damage and one count of criminal trespassing in the first degree,” reports the Daily Mail.

Just yesterday, we published the news that the local police were still investigating, but a few hours after the publication, it became known that the artist was detained.

Dustin Shomer commented on raid on the Facebook community, saying that a mobile group of heavily armed people grabbed him and “pointed a silenced assault rifle in [his] face” because of the drawings on the walls.

“I just spent the last 24 hours in Tempe and Phoenix police custody for spraying "Penis Man." They raided my condo and vehicle and swarmed my entire complex in west Phoenix with 25 heavily armed SWAT officers, and pointed a silenced assault rifle in my face.

Anyone with any doubt who the bad guys are here...be certain it is the City of Tempe, City of Phoenix, and police forces valleywide. There is no excuse for pointing an AR-15 in the face of a non-violent offender.”

While local officials zealously defend their authority and send fighters to the activist’s house. Twitter and Facebook fan communities are enthusiastic about Shomer’s actions and post multiple graffiti photos.

“Shomer also wrote in his post-arrest screed, "For the record, I hate the institution of the police. But, I do not think every single cop is a bastard. To say they all are, is imo, stooping to their level of profiling. Some of the detectives I met seemed to be genuine penis man fans," reports Phoenix New Times.

Dustin Shomer launched a fundraiser on the GoFundMe website. At the moment, he has raised about $ 100.

“I'm broke and have lost my job. I need help with legal fees to defend myself against Tempe PD. And, maybe for a sack of weed since I've got bad PTSD and had an AR-15 in my face 2 days ago. That shit was real scary.”
