Drunk Michigan Democrat after a car accident tells the cops: "This is going to be the most famous arrest you've ever made"
Michigan state Rep. Rebekah Warren was detained by the police for drunk driving and more than doubled the speed limit. According to police reports, Warren did not control the car and crashed into a guardrail.
The officer and his partner interrogated the driver for several minutes and eventually handcuffed the woman and put her in the back seat of the patrol car. It also became known that Rebekah Warren complained because of the handcuffs, because “It’s going to be, like, the senator from Ann Arbor's career is over,” reports Fox News.
Refusing to take a sobriety test and breath test at the scene, a drunk woman was taken to the hospital for blood test. Analyzes showed that the level of alcohol exceeded the norm by more than two times.
The video shows that Warren staggers from side to side and has difficulty answering officers' questions. But after a while, she realizes what happened and prays to the police not to record her on camera.
"I just don't want this on camera for my future," Rep. Rebekah Warren says. "It will ruin my career. You don't understand, I'm elected,” Warren adds. “I'm a senator. People will be, like, the senator got arrested. This is going to be the most famous arrest you've ever made.”
