Oregon Residents Wanted To Leave Democratic State And Join Republican Idaho
Democratic forces everywhere introducing anti-constitutional bills can now lose Josephine County and Douglas County due to actions contrary to the interests of local residents.
According to activists who filed a petition to shift state borders, “We tried voting those legislators out but rural Oregon is outnumbered and our voices are now ignored. This is our last resort.”
“Rural counties have become increasingly outraged by laws coming out of the Oregon Legislature that threaten our livelihoods, our industries, our wallet, our gun rights, and our values,”said in a press release.
For this petition to gain strength, activists must collect 2,429 signatures in Josephine County by August 5th and 2,955 signatures in Douglas County to continue voting on November 3rd, 2020.
According to one of the chief petitioners, Mike McCarter, their future plans include petitions in 17 other districts. McCarter has met multiple times with county commissioners who are considering referring an advisory question to the ballot in their county that would ask the voter: “Should the County Commissioners advocate for the Idaho border to be relocated to make this county a county of Idaho?” Statement says.
Obviously, the Democratic authorities are no longer welcome in the United States. People no longer want to be at risk of depriving them of their legal rights and freedoms, but they do not want to leave their homes either, and the only way out for them is to join the Republic State of Idaho.
"People here would prefer Idaho's conservative governance to the progressive/liberal current Oregon governance. Every time I look at the Facebook group Greater Idaho, the group has gotten bigger," Valerie Gottschalk, another petitioner said in a news release.
