The twice-convicted pedophile finally goes to jail after a protest in the presence of children
Micah Isaiah Rhodes began his perverse "procession" when he was barely 14 years old. The first case of sexual contact was recorded in 2008, when a 9-year-old boy became a victim, a year later Rhodes was found surrounded by three other young children, whose age the authorities was not disclosed.
Presented before the court, the judge did not send the defendant to prison, as he considered that Rhodes was “trying to change,” reports The Conservative News. But as a punishment, he ordered Rhodes not to interact and not approach minors for five years.Six years later, Micah Isaiah Rhodes fall back into old habits. According to official information, a 20-year-old predator found a 17-year-old victim and entered into an illegal sexual relationship with her. A year later, in 2015, already 21-year-old Rhodes raped a 17-year-old boy.
Last Wednesday, Rhodes was again taken into custody for violating the conditions of the probationary period, the Oregonian reports.
“Rhodes was arrested and brought to the Multnomah County Detention Center on accusations that he had been in the presence of children. On Thursday, he was transferred to Washington County Jail, where he remains.
He’s scheduled to appear before Wipper on Wednesday. If the judge finds that he violated the terms of his probation, she could choose from a wide range of punishment — running from a verbal reprimand to revoking his probation and sending him to prison for two or more years”.
