One man dead and one firefighte injured in apartment fire in Brooklyn
An apartment fire killed one man and injured one firefighter in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
The fire erupted at about 7 p.m. in a three-story apartment building on 874 Jefferson Ave. The firefighters responded to the call and located the flames on the second floor.
A 54-year-old man died in this fire and details of his death are not revealed. One more civilian and one firefighter were injured with not life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The blaze was taken under control in 30 minutes after the responders arrived.
The cause of fire is still unknown and pending the results of the investigation.
