93-year-old resident of Pennsylvania asked for beer because of the inability to leave the house and received 150 cans
An astonishing story occurred in Seminole, PA. The 93-year-old Olive Veronesi quickly gained popularity when she hung out a sign asking for beer in the window of her house.
"I NEED MORE BEER!!" it read.
“I was on my last 12 cans, I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it,” Olive says, according to Pittsburg CBS Local.
Indifferent people decided to satisfy the old woman’s request, but they overdid it a bit and the next day 150 cans of chilled Coors beer appeared at the Veronesi door.
“My associate and I put in 10 cases of beer, and drove up, and made sure Olive got her beer so she can continue her healthy regimen of a Coors light a day,” Mark Linder of Molson Coors said, reports Pittsburg CBS Local.
Olive Veronesi was lucky enough to get what she wanted, an employee of The Action Network reported. Later on the network there were new photos of the old woman with replenished beer stocks and a new sign, which read "GOT MORE BEER!"
