MEMPHIS – July 11, 2018
Tennessee gospel group Zion’s Joy had their music video was blocked on Facebook due to its “political content”, writes the Tri-Statedefender .
The video for the song entitled “What Would Heaven Look Like” demonstrated people protesting, but the intention of the clip was to show, that “people should know, we can do better, than the world is doing now”, as Robert Stevenson (one of the group’s members) stated. He also pointed out this content was “positive”, and harmless.
Facebook has already apologized for repeated instanced of “accidental” censorship, but since this isn’t the first case of its kind, similar situations are still likely.
