19 coronavirus-infected people came to Wisconsin voting
According to the Wisconsin Department of Health, 19 cases of coronavirus were identified among those who voted on April 7th. This fact worries officials since hundreds of people could also be infected that day.
Despite attempts by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers postpone the vote, Republicans overturned the Governor’s directives by majority and still put hundreds of people at risk of coronavirus infection.
According to the latest information, on the day of voting in Wisconsin, more than 2 thousand cases of infection were detected and dozens of them died. Two weeks after the vote, the number of infected people approached the mark of 5 thousand people. At the same time, 246 people died, reports Daily News.
