Man was shot in the neck in the Bronx and died month later upgrading charges for three arrested suspects
A man was shot in the neck in the Bronx and died a month later. Three men accused of the shooting will face murder charges, police said.
28-year-old Miguel Cabrera was found dead on April 18 around 1 a.m. about two miles from his home. He was slumped over the wheel of a car parked on E. 175th St. near Marmion Ave. in Crotona.
He was rushed to the St. Barnabas Hospital where he later passed away because of his injuries on May 14. This week Cabrera’s death was declared homicide
A week before his death police arrested three suspects, 25-year-old Humberto Rodriguez; 29-year-old Andres Bello; and 33-year-old and Victor Rodriguez. In the light of the victim’s death their charged were upgraded from attempted murder to murder, officials said.
The motive of the shooting are still not revealed.
