“Mostly peaceful protesters” attacked and dragged two Chicago officers through the street
The attempt to arrest protesters in Chicago nearly ended with the lynching of two police officers. A disturbing video shows how a raging crowd of protesters wandering one of their members off from the police.
The location of this conflict, as well as the names of the participants, are currently unknown.
The beginning of the incident was not recorded on camera, which does not allow us to determine the alleged reason for the attempt to arrest the protester. It can be seen that an overcounting crowd of people pulls off the protester first, and then violently attacks two policemen. The most aggressive grab officers by clothes and drag them through the street.
At one point, a third policeman appears, arriving as reinforcements for his colleagues, a second later, real peaceful protesters create a living barrier that protects officers from an angry crowd.
One of the officers was a woman.
Sen Ted Cruz retweeted the clip and called it “domestic terrorism”.
At the time of publication, the video was watched 4.5 million times.
