George Floyd's Vigil Was Exacerbated By Confederate Flags March
The vigil in Columbia City in honor of the victim of police brutality, which later became a martyr and a symbol of protests across America, was interrupted by a convoy of passing cars with Confederate flags.
One of the witnesses captured on camera, as the drivers deliberately reduced speed and increased engine speed in order to defile the memory of George Floyd.
"Thank you to everyone here who just stood quietly and held your ground even when others around us were not," an event organizer said. "If what just happend made you angry, made you sad, made you feel something... use that as motivation to continue and as a reminder of just how much farther we have to go."
A vigil also took place in the city in which the fatal incident occurred, prompting the multimillion population of the United States to rebel against the system and start riots.
