Creepy bodycam footage of how Atlanta police shock two students during unreasonable detention lead to the dismissal of officers

Massive protests across the country against the use of excessive force do not reduce the degree of tension between civilians and law enforcement. After the publication of a shocking video in which several commandos shocked innocent students, the Police Department dismissed 6 cops.
Also, the viral video prompted the attorney to issue an arrest warrant for all six officers involved in the arrest of two students. All of them were charged with aggravated assault, a serious felony.
The officers charged are Ivory Streeter, Mark Gardner, Lonnie Hood, Willie Sauls, E. Armond Jones and F. Roland Claud.
The situation with the officers is also aggravated by the fact that one of the policemen shouted "He's got a gun! He's got a gun!", but none of the students were armed, and no weapons were found during a search of the car.

AUCC presidents have demanded accountability for the officers who used excessive force against a Morehouse student and a Spelman student. The charging of these officers represents an important first step in that accountability.
