Idaho Parents Suspected of Religious Murder of Their Own Two Minor Children
According to an Idaho police press release, the examination confirmed that the children's remains found in Chad Daybell’s house belong to the children of the biological mother and Daybell’s wife, Lori Vallow.
The dead 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow have been reported missing since September.
"It is not the outcome we had hoped; to be able to find the children safe. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of JJ and Tylee," the Rexburg Police Department said in a news release.
Vallow and Daybell married in November, not long after their previous spouses died and Vallow's children were last seen, reports CNN. After a terrible discovery, the police questioned the causes of the death of their former spouses.
Daybell was charged with concealing and destroying evidence. The bail was set at $ 1 million. Vallow has not yet met with the charges, but it is already known that prosecutors intend to accuse her of two felony counts of desertion and nonsupport of children.
The charges against Daybell are part of a sprawling investigation that has stretched from Idaho to Arizona to Hawaii, picked up connections to a deep religious ideology, reports CNN.
