Portland police officers imprisoned inside police stations: Protesters use bike locks to keep them inside

Portland police officers are asking for help through social media after they have been locked inside the precincts by looters who hide their true faces behind BLM movement masks. Unable to influence the chaos outside, the Police Department announced the need to evacuate, since there is now no one to restrain the raging crowd of vandals.

“The front door to Central Precinct was locked from the outside with the u-lock,” the tweet read. “It had to be cut off from the outside so those inside could leave. The rope was taken by protesters from the flagpole and tied to the roll-up doors on the Southeast corner of the building.”

The day before, riots in the city streets led to numerous robberies. Some police officers were also injured at the hands of protesters.

To suppress riots in the city center, dozens of heavily armed police officers were taken to the streets. Tear gas was used to disperse the crowd of demonstrators.
