Christian blogger jailed and charged with sexual battery after he repeatedly molested 11-year-old victim
A Nashville Christian blogger has been arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery after he attempted to rape an 11-year-old victim.
48-year-old Kenneth Raetz started sexually assaulting a child two years ago when she was 11. On June 25th the victim testified against the predator to 10-15 occurrences of abuse. She said that he molested her when she pretended to be sleeping.
According to affidavits, initially Raetz would come to her bedroom to give her back massage. But one day it went out of control when he began “grope and fondle” her chest. The victim also explained that she had to “hold her legs together” to avoid penetration when he tried to do so.
When he was asked about his actions he “openly admitted” to the rape.
Raetz was charged with aggravated sexual battery and attempted rape of a child. Now the molester is jailed and is waiting for court hearing.
On his website, Raetz, who also is a shareholder and CEO for LBMC Family of Companies, described himself as a “man striving to know God’s heart and to fully understand and live in the grace of all that Christ did on the cross.”
“I want people to notice me and my ability to do great things. I want people to say ‘that Ken Raetz… he sure is somebody,'” one of his latest post in 2013 said.
