Lawlessness in CHOP grows: At least 5 shootings have already taken place
From the moment protesters occupied six blocks of Seattle and announced that it was an autonomous zone, drunken brawls and deadly shootings became the norm in CHOP. There is still no police, ambulance and firefighters ignore the calls, and officials move only under the threat of multimillion-dollar compensation from business owners from the captured area, who were abandoned by the government.
On the night of Monday to Tuesday, another shootout resulted in the death of two people. According to eyewitnesses, one of the victims received a bullet wound in the head.
“We just heard shot after shot after shot,” a livestreamer on the scene said. “There are at least two victims, there may be a third that was shot about an hour ago, I can’t confirm that.” He added that it seemed like a car had pulled up and began firing from the vehicle.
The start of the shooting was captured on video during the interview.
A livestreamer on the scene says this is the vehicle the shooter was driving, they circled doing a drive by and crashed through the barricade before being stopped “by force” by CHAZ/CHOP security. https://t.co/pvm3L1EBgU pic.twitter.com/XoPefr8nt1— Cassandra Fairbanks (@CassandraRules) June 29, 2020
