Previously burned by BLM protesters Atlanta Wendy's where Rayshard Brooks was shot was demolished
Early Tuesday morning, work began on the dismantling of the death reminder of another Black Lives Matter martyr. Rayshard Brooks was mortally wounded on June 12 by two officers during his arrest.
According to officially confirmed information, two police officers, Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan were fired and met with charges of aggravated assault and felony murder. The very next day, Wendy's was burned to the ground, in which between the Brooks put up armed resistance to two police officers.
Now, from a reminder of this incident, only a pile of debris remained.
To date, both accused officers were released. Rolfe paid a bail of half a million dollars, and his partner was released on his own recognizance.
