A 12-year-old boy is brutally beaten by a gang of black teens at a Brooklyn grocery store: VIDEO
Shocking surveillance footage from the First Stop Grocery on Marcy Avenue shows six African American teenagers trample a defenseless child on the floor.
According to the recording date, the incident took place on July 13th. The eyewitnesses said that a group of attackers purposefully pursued the victim.
“He said they came in right away and started beating on him, calling him all types of names,” the victim’s mother, Valerie Prince, told CBS News on Thursday.
The footage shows teenagers throwing cans of soda and other objects at the boy lying on the floor. It is also seen with what cruelty one of the suspects stomps on a defenseless child.
According to police reports, the child received multiple bruises and abrasions. At the moment, nothing threatens his health.
The victim's family also said that they refused a medical examination, but now the child is afraid to leave the house. Police are investigating, but to date, the names and locations of the suspects are unknown.
According to relatives, their child has been repeatedly bullied before, but it has not yet reached such cruelty.
“He’s much of a loner who doesn’t have many friends,” Prince said. “He’s afraid to come out. He doesn’t want to come downstairs.”
