VIDEO: Independent journalist pulls out gun at Antifa when they begin to mob him during Eugene protests
A new video made during the protests in Eugene, Oregon, this morning shows an independent journalist protects himself by pulling a gun at the Antifa crowd when it starts to mob him.
The man wearing a helmet with Press sign on it and a gas mask can be seen in the video recording the protest on his cell phone. One of the Antifa member asks him to which press agency he belongs the man says that he is an independent journalist. Meanwhile several other protestors can be seen coming closer to the man surrounding him.
The exchange of words soon escalates and the protestor begin to ram at the independent journalist while he is trying to dodge.
Then the crowd retreats when the man pulls out what appears to be a gun. He then walks away from the scene.
“It’s unfortunate that yet again we’re having a conversation about a small group of individuals that after three-plus hours of being heard felt like what being heard meant to them was to damage local businesses and public property and to throw rocks at police officers, damaging police cars and hurting officers with rocks,” Skinner said.
