17-year-old died after being shot during drive by in Flint
A 17-year-old girl was fatally shot in the back in the result of a drive by shooting, Flint police confirms.
Authorities say the incident took place on Sunday in the 900 black of Johnson Ave.
The victim, whose name is not immediately released was still alive when the police arrived at the scene and was transported to Hurley Medical Center. She was listed in critical condition, but her injuries were to heavy and the girl passed away on Tuesday.
Flint police said there was nobody in custody yet and the investigation is ongoing.
Wednesday evening is scheduled for a candlelight vigil in the victim’s honor.
