Connecticut man who didn't pay rent chopped off landlord's head with samurai katana
A self-proclaimed sovereign citizen, 42-year-old Jerry David Thompson fell out with Victor King, the landlord, over a rent. Thompson threatened and brandished a samurai sword during the fight, according to official reports.
King reported the incident to the police, but a day later, the landlord did not answer calls. Police arrived at the scene and found the decapitated corpse of King and the silent Thompson, who neither confirmed nor denied the murder charges.

The suspect was arrested on Monday. Thompson is currently being held on a $ 2 million bail. According to the suspect, he does not obey the laws established in the United States and refuses to communicate with the police or lawyers.
The next hearing is scheduled for August 18, the Hartford Courant reports.
