After the Portland rioters vandalized the "racist Elk statue" the Administration replaced it with a weird monster
Residents of Portland are still bewildered by the decision of the city administration to install something similar to an artiodactyl, instead of the 120-year-old Portland's Thomas Elk monument. During days of protests, BLM and antifa members began to destroy racist monuments, one of which was a historic outdoor fountain and bronze sculpture by American artist Roland Hinton Perry.
The elk statue in Portland is burning. The elk owned slaves. This is how we end racism. Thank you Antifa. pic.twitter.com/fL38OKO5HL— Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) July 2, 2020
After the original statue was burned, the city authorities moved Elk's remains to another location, replacing the monument with “the ugliest elk ever”.
All residents who have seen this “masterpiece” are inclined to believe that the vandals should pay to restore the original version of the statue.

this is a pile of rubbish, not art. Especially true when compare to the original one— Eran (@erazon_lim) August 8, 2020
