Alabama Bullock Correctional Facility's Horrific Detention Conditions Shown in Leaked Video
Inmate cells, which contain up to 100 prisoners at a time, are unfit for life. As the video, most likely taken by one of the inmates, shows, the barracks with bunk beds are cracking at the seams.
“Windows is leaking. They closed, but aren’t around… The building is falling down. You can’t take a shower without breaking your f*cking neck. The water is everywhere… We swimming here… Big hole on the floor. Big hole everwhere.”
All windows are unsealed, rainwater flows from the ceiling, and showers are literally split in half.
Such evidence is extremely rare and 99 percent of such evidence does not leave the walls of private and government prisons.
The most highly publicized were the revelations of the prisons of Mississippi and Arizona.
Disregard for the conditions of detention in Mississippi prisons has led to dozens of deaths. As a result, a class-action lawsuit was filed on behalf of 150 prisoners.
Arizona became famous not only for a series of deaths in correctional facilities but for the mysterious death of an informant who collected evidence of high-level corruption and was found dead in hук own home.
