Weather forecasters predict Hurricanes Marco and Laura will hit Texas and Louisiana by mid-week. US President Donald Trump has already ordered assistance to Puerto Rico and Louisiana.

Last weekend, the lives of eight people in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico were claimed by Hurricanes. In the Dominican Republic, a 7-year-old boy and his mother were crushed by a collapsed wall.

Five Haitians are reported dead, including a 5-year-old child.

Texas Hurricane Center released list of precautions during the hurricanes.

Stay safe. Heed all local orders. When severe weather threatens, remain vigilant and closely monitor weather conditions. Heed all local orders, and take shelter as directed.

Be extremely cautious of any water on roads or in creeks, streams, storm drains, or other areas. Never attempt to cross flowing streams or drive across flooded roadways and always observe road barricades placed for your protection. Remember, Turn Around Don’t Drown.

At the moment, coastal authorities in Texas and Louisiana are evacuating people from dangerous areas. The Hurricanes are estimated to hit the US on Wednesday.
