Kenosha car dealerships burned down by protesters: Hundreds of cars destroyed

1202

An angry crowd that came out after the shooting of Jacob Blake by the police began to destroy everything that it sees in its path. Three dealerships were robbed and burned. According to rough estimates, about 150 cars burned down.

The federal government has already dispatched over 120 National Guard agents to riot areas.

Hundreds of people get into fights with police and soldiers. The officers and the National Guard responded with tear gas and arrests.

In addition to arson, shots are also heard in the epicenters of riots.

Several law enforcement squads were attacked outside the Courthouse. Dozens of distraught protesters threw stones and bottles at National Guard agents and police.

According to reports from the Kenosha County Attorney's Office, three officers involved in the Blake shooting incident have been suspended and are under internal investigation. The victim himself is accused of third-degree sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse.

The riots began a few hours after the shooting of the unarmed Blake and continue to this day.
