Drug addict makes a daring escape right from the courthouse in Ohio: VIDEO
Minutes before the indictment is announced, 34-year-old Nickolaus Garrison takes off and goes on the run. It is reported that the defendant was charged with crimes related to prohibited substances.
Two sheriff's deputies tried to detain the fugitive, but they failed. The marshal made an unsuccessful jump behind Garrison and fell down the stairs. Later it was reported that he broke four ribs.
In total, three employees of the Highland County Courthouse were unable to apprehend the fugitive. At the end of the video, one of the bailiffs is seen slowly descending the stairs, but the criminal has already disappeared.
Nickolaus Garrison's location is currently unknown. The convicted person was to be sentenced to two years in prison for illegal possession of methamphetamine.
