Tennessee Prosecutor Censured by State for Writing Book
JOHNSON CITY, TN – July 20, 2018
A book written by Johnson City, Tennessee prosecutor Dennis D. Brooks has resulted in him being censured by the state supreme court.
Brooks' book, "Too Pretty to Live: The Catfishing Murders of East Tennessee", is thought to pose a conflict of interest, the representatives of the Court say, since it was published before the appeals in the case had been concluded.
Brooks said he disagreed with the decision, but probably wouldn’t contest it.
