Louisiana 11-year-old boy hijacked a school bus and used it to get away from police for half an hour
An aspiring criminal committed a daring hijacking of a school bus in Baton Rouge. 13 patrol cars chased the hijacker for about 30 minutes and were able to arrest only after two accidents.
The boy's name was not disclosed. According to police reports, the minor driver rammed the gas pipeline and then crashed into a massive tree, after which police officers pulled him from the bus and handcuffed.
The chase began at about 11 am. An accidental witness filmed the moment when a bus crossed the intersection and the following line of police cars. Although the speed was low, the hijacker provoked several accidents.
The boy will be charged with bus hijacking and aggravated crime.
Now the hijacker is in custody in a juvenile detention center.
