Joe Biden could not remember Mitt Romney's name

171

How come that Joe Biden again found himself fooled.

This time the Democrat candidate, Joe Biden, could not remember the name of Utah senator Mitt Romney and called him simply “that senator.”

Biden’s words were filmed before he got on the plane returning from his campaign stop in Ohio on Monday. Answering a reporter’s question, the formet Vice-President misspoke and said:

“You may remember, I got in trouble when we were running against the senator who was a Mormon, the governor, OK?”

And, of course, the U.S. current President Donald Trump immediately grabbed the opportunity to shoot down in flames his opponent in his twitter.

“Sleepy Joe Biden had a particularly bad day today. He couldn’t remember the name of Mitt Romney, said again he was running for the U.S. Senate, and forgot what State he was in. If I did any of this, it would be disqualifying. With him, he’s just Sleepy Joe!”

And he also suggested that Biden’s “dementia” is getting worse.

"Joe has never been a nice or kind guy, so it’s easier to find this obvious & rapidly getting worse 'dementia' unacceptable for USA!"

And now let’s just sum up.

Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, was the Republican nominee for president when Barack Obama ran for re-election in 2012. The ex-governor has been serving as a senator in Utah since winning the seat in 2018.

In February, Joe Biden also misspoke and instead of saying that he was running to the U.S. president he incorrectly said that he was a Democrat candidate to the Senate.
