13 boat passengers got injured in Florida series of explosions
A cruise boat with 21 passengers on board was wrecked in a series of explosions. According to official information, 13 people were injured of varying severity.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue received several emergency calls for a boat that had exploded on the New River in Fort Lauderdale this afternoon, said Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Golan.
The city authorities do not yet have information about the cause of the explosions. An investigation is underway.

The incident took place at about 2 pm. Five passengers were rushed to Broward Health Medical Center.
