A homeless woman found dead with a bloody nose and traces of footprints across her body, police said.
The disturbing finding was made in a Brooklyn D train when it stopped at Stillwell Ave. station in Coney Island on early Friday. A source close to the case said that the woman is believed to be in her 30s and is also believed to be Hispanic. When she was found she was lying face down on the floor of the subway car.
She was dressed in a pink shirt, pink coat and black pants. Police didn’t find any identifications on her. A source said that she had footprints all across her body as if somebody had trampled over her.
The preliminary investigation suggested that the woman wasn’t a victim of a crime, according to an New York Police Department spokesman.
