Southwest Airlines flight attendant kicked black Trump supporter off the plane allegedly for not wearing his mask while eating
A Southwest Airlines flight attendant conflicted with a black Trump-supporting passenger and attempted to kick him off the plane for not wearing his mask while eating, video shows. But it turned out, there wasn’t a rational reason to do that.
This bizarre and controversial incident occurred at the beginning of the week and was caught on camera. Conservative activist and lawyer, KrisAnne Hall, pulled out her phone and started recorded when a flight attendant approached one of her friends on the plane, Philip Ndifon, a young black man sitting across the aisle, and told him to put his mask on.
The young man had his mask on but it was lowered to his chin because he was eating peanuts at that moment.
“You need to come off this aircraft, you’ve been denied going this plane by the crew,” the attendant said.
“For what though?” a logical question arose.
After the flight attendant explained it to him why the crew denied him going this plane, Philip argued, “I’m wearing the mask, I’m just eating.”
The flight attendant explained that the man was not wearing his mask. Hall intervened and asked the airline employee about the company’s policy, which he refused to do.
“Tell the crew to tell me the policy that says he cannot eat with his mask off,” Hall required.
“It was his first flight on Southwest ever. It was his first flight since COVID,” Hall later wrote in description to the video she uploaded on her YouTube channel. “These Southwest employees violated the policy to remove our friend from the plane and there was no other reason than they didn’t like his Trump wear.”
Hall also mentioned that it seemed like the flight attendant singled Ndison out from the moment they boarded.
It still remains questionable whether the Southwest Airlines workers follow the strict advice of the California Governor’s office to put your mask back on in between bites, which is actually ridiculous, or they just didn’t like the fact that Philip was wearing a Trump 2020 mask and a hat with “Black Voices for Trump” written on it.
Regardless of this, it looks like the crew simply found the slightest pretext to kick the man off the plane.
Philip eventually leaves the plane. One of their friends joins and follows him out.
“Thank you very much for showing us who you are,” Hall can be heard saying at the end.
