Ohio police seek for driver who shot at kids playing basketball after they told him to slow down
Ohio man is being sought by the authorities after he was caught on camera shooting at the children playing street basketball after they told him to slow down.
The man was driving his white Pontiac G6 with temporary license plates and sped up when one of the kids from a group yelled at him to slow down.
The man then stopped, pulled his semiautomatic gun and fired three times at the kids. 11-year-old kid, named Alex and his 15-year-old friend Markeise Smith were among the group.
The incident was filmed on the phone camera and turned over to the police. The investigation has been launched. NO injuries in the shooting were reported.
“He [the driver] should be locked up for what he did because you shouldn’t shoot at kids because they tell you to slow down,” Smith said.
“This can be traumatic for anyone, especially a 15- and an 11-year-old trying to play. Any information can help. It’s like a puzzle. Every piece helps bring this person to justice and have them answer for their crime,” Capt. Dave Laughlin told the channel.
