According to the relatives of the deceased teenager, on the day of his death, Brayan Zavala and his older brother, Jesus, were mowing the lawn on the lawn near the house, when a car suddenly drove up, from which an unidentified man in a mask got out, shot the child in the face and fled the scene.

To date, the Clayton County Police Department does not have the slightest lead in this case. The motives and identity of the offender are not known.

The boy could not survive the wounds he received and died in the arms of his brother, Law & Crime reports.

The shooter “didn’t say nothing,” Zavala said. “He didn’t say, ‘I’m assaulting you. I’m robbing you.’ Naw, he just stood there and shot my brother.”

"He basically told me, 'I can't no more, brother,'" Jesus recalled.
