Joe Biden at last publicly responded to Hunter's story and called it “last ditch effort” to “smear” his family.
Former vice president Joe Biden has finally reacted to the sensational allegations against his son, Hunter, and publicly responded to the accusation of using Democratic presidential nominee’s high-profiled government position to protest the business “shady” deals overseas.
Biden senior gave an interview to local Milwaukee station WISN-TV and called all allegations just an attempt “garbage” and “last ditch effort” to “smear” their family.
He also commended on the story concerning the New York Post’s recent report of the Hunter’s laptop possessed by the FBI after Hunter allegedly dropped it off at a Delaware computer repair shop.

"Wisconsin's Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, put out a statement on Homeland Security letterhead saying Hunter Biden, together with other Biden family members, profited off the Biden name," WISN reporter Adrienne Pedersen before asking, “Is there any legitimacy to Sen. Johnson's claims?”
"None whatsoever! This is the same garbage Rudy Giuliani, Trump's henchman. It's the last ditch effort in this desperate campaign to smear me and my family," Biden replied.

"Even the man who served with him on that committee, the former nominee for the Republican Party [Sen. Mitt Romney], said there's no basis to this, and you know and all and the vast majority of the intelligence people have come out and said there's no basis at all," Biden said.

So, it seems that Hunter MET the shop-owner who later handed over the laptop in question to the FBI (Dec. 2019). "Ron should be ashamed of himself," Biden declared.
