Kansas City woman went viral after hard-hitting verbal exposure of the Board of Police Commissioners

A recent video shared on social media shows a Kansas woman performing with a flame-throwing speech during a meeting of city’s Board of Police Commissioners.

After the video went viral, the woman, who is KJ Brooks, became an internet hero. In her comment Brook, who joined the protests to remove Kansas police chief, called for the entire department to be pulled down around their heads.

“I’m not nice and I don’t seek to be respectable,” Brooks began. “I’m not asking y’all of anything because y’all can’t and won’t be both my savior and oppressor.”

“I don’t want reform, I want to turn this building into luxury low cost housing,” she continued.

Then she ordered not to use the black children as photo opportunities, and applied to Police Chief Rick Smith saying that eating cookies and drinking milk with children “does not absolve you of your complicity and denigration.” Afterward, she listed out the “sins” of nearly each board members calling it “something I’m sure nobody has ever done.”

She lambasted church-affiliated members for their un-Christian support of unjust systems.

Brooks ended with noting that Jesus was an unarmed black man killed by the state and quoted the chapter of Mark in which Jesus feeds the four thousand and asks them to follow them from Bible, “the book you hellbound people claim to love so much.”

"What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” she said.
